Hoghton tower wedding video – Lancashire wedding – Hannah & Robert

Jun 6, 2018 | castle wedding, Hoghton tower, Lancashire wedding, summer wedding

Hannah & Robert had an incredible Hoghton tower wedding in the glorious May sunshine.

Castle Wedding!

Sometimes I get to a venue and I panic a bit. I look at it and think to myself “oh wow! this is awesome is there going to be enough time for me to capture how awesome this place is?”. Hannah and Robert’s Hoghton tower wedding was just such a wedding. The tower is set on top of a hill in the heart of the Lancashire countryside with incredible views all around. It’s essentially a castle. Every time I get a castle wedding the kid in me gets a little giddy with excitement. It is also in incredibly good shape considering it’s age. So filming there was an absolute dream. Especially in the incredible weather we had at the beginning of May. If I’m honest, I actually got a little sunburn :-p

Dont worry, have fun

But it’s not all about the venue. It takes a pretty awesome couple to make a wedding video like this one. Hannah and Robert were the absolute best when it came to being natural on camera. They just seemed to forget that Neil (their kickass photographer) and I were there a lot of the time. Plus they were so obviously happy to be in each others company that it was impossible to film these guys in a way that didn’t show off their love for each other.

Special mention as well has to go to Hannah’s beautiful wedding dress as well. It’s not often that I get excited about filming a dress but here gorgeous Sassi Holford dress just stole the show all morning. I honestly could have spent the whole morning getting shots of it.

I had an absolute blast filming Hannah & Robert’s Hoghton tower wedding day, it was a long day and I spent longer there than I probably needed to… but it was so worth it. As I hope you’ll agree.

Thanks for having me guys and congratulations
