Lisa and Andrew are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I noticed throughout the day that Andrew spent a lot of his time making sure that everyone else was alright. Guests, family and suppliers, he wanted to make sure that everyone was happy. Lisa too was incredibly lovely: her bubbly personality shone through even during a difficult morning that would have turned some brides into bridezillas, and she was composed and calm through it all.
Despite any difficulties in the morning though, the rest of the day was incredible. There were so many fantastic touches that Lisa and Andrew brought to the day to make it really stand out. Their shared love of children and emphasis on family really shone through in all the little decisions they’d made in order to give the day a really fun and family friendly emphasis. Set in the grand grounds of Newby Hall in Ripon, Lisa and Andrew had all manner of things going on. Kite flying, train riding, ice-cream eating, balloon releasing, Polaroid taking, to name but a few. There was truly never a dull moment.
The photographers for the day were the awesome Pete & Laura Lawson, who managed to get some truly stunning shots of the day.
