Sara & Adam had a beautiful Middleton Lodge wedding in North Yorkshire.
A Middleton Lodge wedding is always great from our point of view. It’s a wedding venue that has so many opportunities for cool shots. Middleton lodge is right in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and has wonderful views over the local area. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy the peace and quiet whilst getting away from it all…
That is, until someone shows up with a shotgun. Most of the Middleton Lodge weddings that we’ve filmed have begun with the Groom and his friends enjoying the local views then flinging clay pigeons into the sky. Then the shotguns come into play as they use them to blow the porcelain poultry out of the sky. Obviously we’re talking claypigeon shooting. It has to be said that Adam did an admirable job. He did ask us to edit the the film, making it look like every shot was successful. This wasn’t needed. Adam was keeping a level head and a steady hand and this says a lot about Adam. He comes across as a cool calm and collected gentleman and upon meeting him it is very easy to like him. Any pre-wedding nerves were being hidden very well.
Sara was enjoying the company of her bridesmaids in one of the beautiful rooms that Middleton Lodge provided, complete with views of the Yorkshire wedding venue’s beautiful gardens and grounds. Sara’s face was fixed in a permanent grin for most of the day. It was easy to see that she was brimming with excitement and anticipation of the day ahead.
What a day it turned out to be! Sara and Adam had really worked hard to get the most out of their Middleton Lodge wedding. The venue decorations looked stunning. The band were awesome. The guests were up for anything. The casino games kicked ass. Yes, that’s right. After the band finished playing the guests retired to Middleton Lodge’s basement where Sara and Adam had put together an after hours den featuring roulette, blackjack, burritos, glitter paint, drinks and a photo booth.
Such an incredible day.
