A Star inn, Harome Wedding video
Sadie & Jamie had a gorgeous at the Star inn, Harome wedding in Yorkshire in early October.
I was really looking forward to Sadie and Jamie’s wedding. All through our email correspondence these guys were great fun and seemed really excited about their wedding day. But that was really no substitute for meeting them in person. These guys are one of the nicest, warmest, funniest and most down to Earth couples I’ve ever had the pleasure to film (and I get to work with some pretty great couples). This really came through in every part of the day. Their ceremony was full of emotion and genuine affection, the speeches were full of people choking back tears and our portrait session was one of the easiest I’ve ever done.
It really helped that Sadie and Jamie had opted for such an intimate wedding. With only around 40 of their nearest and dearest, everyone felt like they were a big part of the day. The venue they chose was perfect for this. The Star Inn in Harome is such a beautiful venue set in the heart of Yorkshire. It really does the countryside aesthetic well, with beautiful views, open wooden beams and free roaming chickens. Somehow though, in my online research on the venue I failed to pick up on the fact that the The Star Inn is the proud owner of a Michelin star. I only found out when James (Sadie & Jamie’s brilliant photographer) started photographing the food coming out of the open kitchen. Thanks to Sadie and Jamie I can now happily report that I have eaten in a Michelin star restaurant 🙂
Such a brilliant day. Congratulations guys.
