Our style may be a little different from what you’ve seen around. We’re all about the people and the story. That’s what gets us excited.
Your wedding day is going to be made up of so many moments and stories that you’ll want to re-live. We capture them in the most interesting and creative ways possible. Then we craft all of those sories together into videos that weave a narrative through your celebration and catch a bit of your personality. We create a wedding video that showcases how you and your day are unique.
You are unique. Your culture, heritage, friends, family and experience mean that your wedding day will be unique to you too.
Your wedding film should be unique to you too. Our purpose is to buck the trand of traditional wedding videography in the UK. Our emphasis is on creating something that future generations are going to beg you to put on. A wedding video that isnt just a snapshot of your day (usually in slow motion it seems), but a snapshot of who you, your family and your friends are at this point in time. Something that is truly personal to you.

Unique and honest wedding videos
No two couples are the same, so no two of our wedding films are the same. We don’t work to an editing formula or a template.
Every frame and every sound in your wedding video is chosen with purpose.
Documentary approach
On the day of your nuptials we’re “hands off” sort of videographers. We’ll chat to you, laugh with you, help out the bridal party wherever we can. But we want you to relax and be yourself. We want you to feel like we belong at your wedding. Once that happens, you’ll forget that we’re holding cameras.
We won’t be treating your wedding venue like a film set. We won’t be treating you and your spouse like models. We’ll be treating your friends and family like our friends and family, because that’s when the best moments happen.

We’re based in the Northwest of England. Manchester to be exact. On our front page I’ve written a little about how Manchester affects us our wedding film making. But We love this location for its readily accessible routes to locations all over Britain. We travel through the beautiful English countryside to get so some of the best wedding venues that the United Kingdom has to offer. We’ve shot in nearly every county in England. We’ve filmed weddings in nearly every city London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, York, Birmingham, Lancaster, Liverpool. We’ve transported our cameras all over these fair isles
A country of history & wedding tradition
A lot of our Wedding traditions in the United Kingdom come from our long history. For instance; the reason the bride walks down the aisle on the left dates back to medieval times. It was so that the Groom could keep his sword hand free.
Grooms keep the bottom button of their waistcoats and morning suits undone. This is thought to be because of a portly King Henry VII that found it difficult to do up all of the buttons. The other courtiers adopted the look. It stuck.
The first white wedding dress was recorded across the Channel in France. But it wasn’t until the wedding of queen Victoria that White wedding dresses became popular. With British influence felt across the globe at the time, the trend found it’s way into the wedding customs of other nations and cultures as well.
Wedding venues in the uk
Couples getting married in the United Kingdom have a huge choice of venue and style. In Scotland you can get married pretty much anywhere so long as you have permission. England, Wales and N.Ireland are a little less cool with that. But there are some incredible buildings and venues to hold your nuptials in. People have been leaving their structural marks on the UK since the building of Stonehenge. There are unsurprisingly hundreds of places you can get married that are centuries old. and yes, you can actually get married in Stonehenge too (sort of)
Ancient churches
Great Britain and Northern Ireland have thousands of Churches. Some of these are old enough to date back to Anglo-Saxon times. They’re a popular choice for those that have a personal faith and those that want to feel a connection to the United Kingdom’s heritage. We love filming in churches but it’s always a good idea to check with the vicar first. There are Often restrictions on videographers in these holy places. If you’re a big fan of medieval history and want something a little more impressive, the UK has a handful of actual castles that you can get married in like Bolton castle in Yorkshire. Or if you’re just looking for something grand rather than historic there are a few more modern mock castles as well like Hazlewood.
Stately manors
The united Kingdom has a vibrant history of well known and well regarded authors. You were probably forced to study their works in school at some point. So you most likely already have a passing knowledge of Geoffrey Chaucer, William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, The Bronte sisters and of course Jane Austen. A huge amount of classical British books make reference to Estates, Stately homes and manor houses. It’s probably down to the link between England’s litarary culture and these houses that so many of them have been well maintained over the year. Most of these Stately homes and manor houses play host to hundreds of wedding ceremonies and receptions every year. Venues like Elmore court, Middleton lodge, and Dewsall court have tons of character and quait charm. Who wouldn’t want to live out their Pride and Prejudice fantasies in a stunning Georgian mansion?
Rustic British countryside
If you’re going for something a little more rustic. The UK has hundreds of purposely converted wedding barns. Some are ancient stone structures surrounded by woodlands and hedgerows. Some like Guardswell farm are beautifully converted cowsheds Overlooking the Scottish highlands. The great thing about these venues is that they tend to be a little more of a blank canvas and a little more relaxed. You get to pick your own fun a little more.
City Chic
Then you’ve got your Urban venues. The United Kingdom like any country, has the mass congregations of peoples, culture and commerce we call cities. London is clearly the most well known. It’s the seat of our government, the home of our King and the only city that ever seems to appear (or get destroyed) in Hollywood movies. But lets not forget about Liverpool, the birthplace of the Beatles. Manchester, the birthplace of the Industrial revolution. Glasgow, the birthplace of the Chicken tikka masala. In nearly every city across the UK you will find incredible places to get married. Urban wedding venues in the UK tend to be unique in their construction and character. Any interesting space in the city that can seat a hundred people for a wedding reception could be your perfect wedding venue. It may be a school like Hampton court house in London, a Library like the Signet in Edinburgh, Or Manchester’s Fivefour studios… a photography studio

Destination UK
Why get married in the UK?
Every year thousands of brides and grooms get married across the United Kingdom. Hundreds of them have travelled for a destination wedding in the UK. What’s the attraction?
We’ve travelled all over the UK playing videographer for hundreds of weddings. Our lenses have seen some of the best places that this fair Isle has to offer.
When we’ve filmed weddings up in Scotland, even the drive there has been a pleasurable experience. Driving through the mountains and heather strewn plains of the Highlands is always a glorious experience. Videoing couples saying their nuptial vows in a hand fasting ceremony is lovely. But when it’s in the shadow of a mountain by a loch… it’s like being in an episode of Outlander.
Just a little further south are the incredible lakes of Cumbria and the Lake district. A recent tepee wedding our cameras captured had us looking down the valley into the lakes.
Playing around with our happy couple on the shores of Lake windermere was an absolute delight. The wedding dress looked incredible against the backdrop of the lakeland scenerey
To the east there is the vast and varied Dales of Yorkshire. Yorkshire is a vast and beautiful county and a lot of our couples invite their guests to join them there. Wedding videography in Yorkshire is always fun for us as the people there are always incredibly friendly too.
The home counties offer some of the most intersting and ancient venues in Britain. There are always some interesting shots for us to try and capture and pull into focus as we tour the historic sights with our couples, their bridemsaids and groomsmen.
About as far south as you can go in England is the West-country. Devon and Cornwall have some of the most incredible coastlines on the island. There’s usually some point in the day where we head out with our microphones and drones to try and capture something of the incredible seaside ambience.
