Because of our bespoke approach to each couple’s film, wedding video is an art to us.
We put a huge amount of time and energy into crafting your wedding film. You’ll see us working our socks off on your wedding day… but what you won’t see is all of the hours we put in after that.
We take all of the little moments captured throughout your day and weave them together. We create a seamless narrative of your day that picks up a little bit of your personality along the way.
We want every one of our films to feel organic and personal to you as well as looking and sounding awesome. We want to do it well so we don’t rush things. It… takes… time…
Time well spent
Our wedding video costs are based around the time it takes us to edit. Each wedding video edit can take anything from a few days to a couple of weeks depending on the collection and extras you choose.
At the end of it though, you have a beautiful piece of art that shows your day in a way that can’t be captured in photos or guestbooks or a fifteen second Instagram story. So yes, it is an investment.

The Featurette Collection
A little bit of everything

Second videographer
We strongly suggest having a second Cinematographer with Jon on your big day. This allows us to be in two places at once and ensures there are two camera operators during key moments. With more footage available, we’ll usually be able to increase the length of your main film by a minute or two as well
It’s a worthwhile investment for a multitude of reasons
Every couple is unique and every wedding is different. This means that we ask all of our prospective couples to tell us a little about their day before we give them a quote.
Yes, we know that’s annoying when you’re just trying to do some research. But we’ve found that this is the best way to help our couples find what they’re looking for. To give you an idea though, our couples tend to spend between £1675 and £2500.

Optional Extras
These are our a-la-carte additions. They can be added to your booking at any time, but it helps us out if you mention them in advance.

Raw footage
If you have a fear of missing out then you can purchase the raw footage from the day from us. We’ll render it all together for you into a watchable film and put it on a USB. It’s rough, but if you’re lucky you might catch Jon talking to animals whilst he films them.
There is a discount on this if you let us know that you want this in advance of your wedding date as it affects the way we film and edit.
Cutting room Edit
Inevitably that means that a large portion of perfectly good footage doesn’t make it into the final cut. If you get FOMO then this may be for you.
the cutting room edit is similar to our raw footage. It is a chronological film of the day made up of all of the footage that we shot on the day. However all of the really wonky shots have been removed and each clip consists of just the moment that we used of would have used if the narrative had taken us in that direction.
The film will be colour graded and presented in the ratio in which it was framed. Audio will be the natural audio captured by the on camera microphone. Occasionally the audio may be substituted or muted in places where there is interference, distortion, suppliers bitching about each other, or I’m embarrassed about the stupid voice I used to get your cat to do somehing on camera.
Overnight Supplement
We don’t want to miss anything. If you’re lucky enough to be getting married more than an hour and a half away from Manchester then we may need to stop overnight the night before to make sure we can get to you early on your big day. For this, we charge a modest supplement to help cover our hotel stay.
Extended coverage
If you’re having the sort of party that’s going to get truly awesome later on, or if there’s something important happening very early in the morning, let us know. Usually we cover around twelve hours, but if you know that you’re going to want us a lot longer talk to us about your schedule and we’ll arrange extended coverage.
Drone coverage
We use our drone sparingly. Drone shots only make it into the film if they’re interesting. A lot of the time they won’t be included in the film at all. But for some an aerial shot is a must have
If a second shooter is booked We will attempt to hire a licenced and insured drone operator as our second shooter. We will task them with getting aerial footage of your day.
We will utilise a few of the shots within your film and give you a trimmed edit of any footage taken.
When a solo collection is booked, Jon will make efforts to arrive early and perform aerial videography if the schedule allows it.
This add-on is subject to weather local restrictions and permission from the land owner.
Additional USB drives
All of our films are delivered on a custom USB drive. If you would like additional drives to give to family or friends then we can supply you with extra copies
Destination Weddings
If you’re lucky enough to be getting married outside of the UK we’d love to come and film your day. Jon’s had a lot of experience as a destination wedding videographer, filming all over Europe, as far west as Canada and as far East as the Philippines.
If you’re interested in taking us abroad then get in touch. When capturing weddings outside of the UK we do a considerable amount of research. There are also a lot of logistical considerations. As such we charge more for destination weddings. It’s worth it though when you can see what we can create with some foreign inspiration.
